Some guys may have to lower their resolution to get 75hz. They really thought they could add a linux client version onto windows OS without problems lol Valve is just abusing CS 1.6 as a laboratory rat. this update kicked ass now you have default 1.6 models when you play 1.6(dont have to download anymore) ppl using refresh rate of 120hz can match their fps withtheir refresh rate making the cs shots more LAN like ppl that chose to use anti aliasing can do so,ppl who dont use -nofbo (also fixes the black bars things) so : P well -noforcemparms disables the mouse accel when you have accel off in windows. Nubs don't know how to change monitor hz without -freq. Most popular program to change monitor hz for different resolution's @ CRT era.

I use cl_minmodels 1 but I still can't get all the models the same X_X .. I wanted to start a thread and mention the bugs and glitches this new version has caused. I mean they didn't care about CS 1.6 for almost 10 years, left it with plenty bugs and now they're suddenly updating it? -noforcemparms -noforcemspd seem to be useless since a long time . Click "on" @ refresh overriding and check "Always use the fastest safe frequency for mode".

i did that on HD models and non-HD models but still all the models are diff in cl_minmodels 1 or 0 plz Help i want all the models the same =/Guys the reason Valve is doing this is VERY LIKELY (VERY VERY) because they don't want to spend more time and money on 1.6 so they just release stupid updates that ruin the game, to make people switch to CS: GO. The major problem right now is that -noforcemparms used the windows speed as well lets say you had 4/11 it used 4/11 ingame. That's used to force higher frequency in lower resolution. You don't need to lower your desktop resolution or shit like that.

Right now the command only kills the acceleration while rawinput is static set to 6/11. What you suggest is lower your desktop resolution so low than you can higher your hz. You could have done the same thing under your gfx drivers What? You just download refreshlock and it set's on each resolution "max" hz you can run.

Strange that they didn't read up on the feedbacks though. And you're saying it in your comment "50K are playing it" why change it when it satisfies so many after all these years.. If they want more they have to lower their resolution and higher hz in the gfx drivers.

I made a post on to try to fix your problems but unfortunately it was much harder than I expected because so many people don't like to read so I'm just going to upload my half-life folder and tell you how to replace yours:*WARNING* The download isn't small because I didn't remove any excess files like maps and other things of the sort, just be grateful, it took me 20 min to upload. I've watched all the comments on this thread till now and i never saw so many diferent bugs/changes at the same time. Couple of new things i learnt : - cfgs now need to be put in a new folder "Steam\Steam Apps\common\Half-Life\cstrike_addon" - game is stretched to full screen resolution irrespective of your gaming resolution (i play on 800x600, but the game is actually displaying streched to 1080p...

If u look at post #64yup, and all guys whining "bout a low sense were not playin with mousefix.reg, i guess. Hertz frequency commands of the monitor doesnt even work anymore.

i've played with windows accel from 2006 to 2012, i promess u, after a week without accel you will rock like u never did :oi did try to play without it, but i hate high sens and i dont have enough space to play with low sens.pretty much im fucked up right now.used to accel and didnt want to switch : S only solution for me now is non steam XDyou have acceleration when you move your mouse quickly but when you move it slow its around the same as without acceleration so if you move your mouse for the exact same distance twice ,just you do it one time slowly the other time fast , your crosshair will go longer distance when you move your mouse quickly its something like that i dont think i explained it clearly enoguh : SMust have commands i found are: Perferencs: -nofbo And gl_vynsc 0 in console About sensivity noforce commands dont seem to work anymore. Maybe if you manually force them in your gfx driver settings it might work?

I have no idea what you guys talking about I got my config and all files in folder 100 fps no more no less Same resolution 8x6 No problem with textures or anything in steam Mouse movement feels exactly same as before WTF? I'm sure that after 1 or 2 days everything will be back to normal.

Try do what Schyper said or simply uninstall steam and cs and wait a little bit. Honestly I don't know what seems to be the problem for you guys.
